We check out the Carpenter and House Painter Contractor that you book and pay for directly through the CityVendors platform.
Potential providers must give detailed information about themselves and/or their businesses, and their home service experience must be verified.
When a Contractor signs up to use CityVendors on their own, CityVendors works with Jumio to use computer vision technology to verify the professional’s identification credentials.
As part of our screening process, professionals who sign up to use CityVendors on their own are given a background check. Checkr, an approved third-party background check provider, does the background check. Checkr’s search looks through national, state, and county databases that go back at least 5 years and, in some places, even further. The goal of these checks is to find people who have done things that could keep them from using CityVendors.
